Common questions
-
Session times are an estimate and up to the time listed in the booking menu. Sometimes these sessions may not need to be as long as the time listed, but this price also includes editing time and one revision of the first edit.
-
Please let me know as soon as possible if you aren't able to make the session.
If a session is cancelled then you will unfortunately lose your deposit.
-
I will only cancel a session in extreme circumstances. For example: illness, weather, travel complications, bereavement etc... If this does happen though, you will retain your deposit and we will book again for the next available date.
-
Of course! If it helps to make you feel comfortable then by all means, bring someone along!
-
I'm happy to allow a little time at the end of the allotted session. However, if the session runs over by a considerable amount, this will be chargeable. If it looks as though the session is going to exceed the agreed time, we can discuss this on the day. I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable, so the final decision is always yours.
-
I always aim to get edited images, footage or recordings back you within 2 weeks. If for any reason this isn't going to be possible, you will be notified in advance.
If you have a particular deadline that is shorter than this timeframe, let me know in advance of the shoot, or on the day. Please note that there will be a rush fee included in your final invoice if you do require this service.
-
Unfortunately not. RAW files are just a recording of the image and not the final product. It wouldn't be a true representation of the work. Files will be sent to you in jpg format after you have signed off the work.
-
This may be possible but it would need to be agreed upon when you book.
-
That's absolutely fine! I usually wait for my clients to start sharing the images before I share them anyway, but some clients prefer they aren't posted on my accounts at all.
There is a section on the agreement form where you give your permission for this, so it’s all covered.
-
All images, video and sound recordings, according to UK law, are owned by the creator. In short that means I will be the owner of the final images, unless there is an agreement where I sign the rights over to you. An exemption of this would be if you were to hire me solely as a camera operator as part of a production, for example.
I am happy for the images to be shared on your own social media. However, if you would like to publish any images, video, or sound recordings elsewhere (on television or a news outlet for example) please contact me and we can work something out.
More information on this can be found on gov.uk

I would ask that no edits are carried out by anyone other than me.
Minor cropping is fine to accommodate different social media ratios, but the addition of filters etc… is not permitted.
-
The short answer is that everyone is unique and so is every project.
I choose not to display a fixed price list to ensure that you are always charged fairly for the exact work you need. Instead of forcing you into a rigid package, I prefer to kick off our relationship with a conversation.
Your free initial consultation is a wonderful, zero pressure opportunity for us to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit. From there, we can look at what you truly need.
Following our chat, I will put together a few different proposals for you at various price points. This gives you complete control over your investment, and it completely removes that awkward feeling if a quote turns out to be higher than you expected. If you have a specific budget in mind, please just let me know, I am always happy to create a solution that works within your financial comfort zone.
Cancellation Policy
Bookings are subject to availability and require a non-refundable deposit to secure your date. Your date won't be secured until the deposit has been paid and has cleared. Confirmation of your booking will be sent to you via email.
If you are unable to make the event on the day, please contact me as soon as possible; unfortunately, this will mean that your deposit won't be refunded.
In the event that I am unable to make the date, your deposit will remain valid, and I will contact you to re-arrange for as soon as possible.
