FAQ's

How long does a session usually take?

Session times are an estimate and up to the time listed in the booking menu. Sometimes these sessions may not need to be as long as the time listed, but this price also includes editing time and one revision of the first edit.

What if I need to cancel the session?

Please let me know as soon as possible if you aren't able to make the session.
If a session is cancelled then you will unfortunately lose your deposit.

What if you cancel the session?

I will only cancel a session in extreme circumstances. For example: illness, weather, travel complications, bereavement etc... If this does happen though, you will retain your deposit and we will book again for the next available date.

Can I bring someone with me?

Of course! If it helps to make you feel comfortable then by all means, bring someone along!

What happens if the session runs over?

I'm happy to allow a little time at the end of the allotted session, but usually a further charge will be included in your final invoice. If it looks as though the session is going to exceed to agreed time, then we can discuss this on the day. I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable, so the final decision is always yours.

When will I get my files?

I aim to get edited images, footage or recordings back you within 2 weeks. If for any reason this isn't going to be possible, you will be notified in advance.

If you have a particular deadline that is shorter than this timeframe, let me know in advance of the shoot, or on the day. There will be a rush fee included in your final invoice if you do require this service.

Can I get the RAW images

Unfortunately not. RAW files are just a recording of the image and not the final product. It wouldn't be a true representation of the work. Files will be sent to you in jpg format after you have signed off the work.

Can I get the unedited video or audio files?

This may be possible but it would need to be agreed upon when you book.

Is it possible for you to not share the images on your social media pages and website?

If you would prefer this, then that's absolutely fine! I usually wait for my clients to start sharing the images before I share them anyway, but some clients prefer they aren't shared. If this is the case, just let me know.

Who owns the copyright to the work?

All images, video and sound recordings, according to UK law, are owned by the creator. In short that means I will be the owner of the final images, unless there is an agreement where I sign the rights over to you.

I would be happy for the images to be shared on your own social media, but if you would like to publish any images, video, or sound recordings elsewhere, please contact me and we can work something out.
